Services
Connectivity and Corridor Work:
We provide in-depth ground surveys for state, county, or federal agencies. We look at animal movement through track identification and animal trailing and can give an accurate list of the species moving through a certain corridor. We use trail-cameras and carbon track plates to supplement and increase our findings. We can contribute to radio telemetry research and prior GIS analysis by ground-truthing data.
Surveys:
We work with land owners and land trust organizations in providing species lists for a focal plot of land. Whether the land is already under ownership or is in the process of acquisition, we can offer an accurate and detailed picture of the species found there through track and sign identification.
Research:
We offer our skills to supplement or head mammal research projects. We can work with individuals, universities, conservation organizations, land owners and other groups or affiliations. We utilize trailing and track and sign interpretation as a way of documenting the habits, habitat interactions, predator-prey relationships, and land use of the target species.
